I am Monika Sharma, currently pursuing an M.Phil./Ph.D. in Rural Development at the Central Department of Rural Development, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. I hold dual Master's degrees—one in Sociology from Patan Multiple Campus (2024), and another in Rural Development from Padma Kanya Multiple Campus (2022). My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Tri-Chandra Multiple Campus in 2018. I have several years of teaching and research experience, currently serving as a Lecturer at Nepal Commerce Campus, Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT), and K & K International College, where I teach BBA and MA-RD courses. Previously, I taught Sociology to BBA students at Medhavi College, Sankhamul, Kathmandu. Beyond teaching, I have actively participated in national and international research projects. I worked as a Field Researcher for the "IT Industry Growth Study" with the Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS), supported by the World Bank. I also served as an Enumerator in projects conducted by Kathmandu University and ETH Zurich, including the “Willingness to Train: Nepal Employers Survey” and “RCT Survey: Ensure Apprentices and Non-Apprentices.” In addition to my academic and research work, I am a published author. I have written textbooks such as Fundamentals of Sociology for BBA/BHM (Pokhara University), Nepalese History and Politics for BBA/BBM (Tribhuvan University), and Nepalese Studies for BBS (Far Western University).
