I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at the University of Illinois, specializing in soil and water conservation. As a research assistant in the Water Quality Laboratory, my work focuses on developing and optimizing conservation practices to mitigate non-point source nutrient pollution in water resources. My research spans laboratory experiments to field-scale studies and hydrological modeling, with a particular emphasis on integrating woodchip-based green infrastructures in intensively managed agricultural landscapes. This work aims to reduce nutrient loss on a regional scale while maximizing environmental and socioeconomic benefits.
